Living a Godly Life in an Ungodly World

Christians can confidently look toward a future with Christ that will be free of the grief and problems we face in this world.  But what do we do in the meantime?  

We can stand strong.  In the Old Testament  the life of King Asa shows us how to face life head on.  His example points to the value of focusing on God, living a lifestyle of worship, and persisting with courage and dependence upon God.

By studying his life we will see that, even though we will face enemies and challenges, we can life godly lives.

We will be in 2 Chronicles for the next six weeks and will look at the lessons of

Pursue Godliness; Make God the focus of your life – 2 Chronicles 14:1-8 

Depend on God; God is greater than any challenge we face – 2 Chronicles 14:9-15 

Act with Courage; Persistent problems call for courage – 2 Chronicles 15:1-9 

Worship Continually; Live your life as an act of worship – 2 Chronicles 15:10-19 

Remember God's Faithfulness; The God who guided you in the past will guide you now and in the future – 2 Chronicles 16:1-13 

Leave a Legacy; Godly living impacts future generations – 2 Chronicles 17:1-13
