The Pitfall of Bitterness

Imagine having made a wonderful batch of sweet lemonade for a hot outdoor event tomorrow and then pouring yourself a big ice cold glass...only to find out that you have forgotten to add sweetener.  Imagine your face as you taste the extremely bitter solution.  

We now look at how Joseph avoided the Pitfall of Bitterness in dealing  with his brothers.  

God sent Joseph to Egypt so God could preserve life – Joseph's life, Egyptian life, other nation's lives, Joseph's family. 

Because of Joseph people throughout the region would keep on living. Thus, Joseph did not consider himself to be a victim, but rather a loyal worker wherever God placed him.
