Summer Study Sessions

 

Christianity is more that a philosophy (a body of knowledge).  It is more than just a legal system, a set of rules or a collection of religious exercises.  Christianity is relationship building, with God, with Jesus the Christ, with God’s Holy Spirit.

Christians do not worship a distant, foreign, or aloof God.  God is with us (Emanuel).  The Holy Spirit is the person of God present with us to whom we directly relate.  The Holy Spirit guides us, teaches us, empowers us, comforts us, and lets us know when we are doing wrong.

For the next six weeks we will see just how the Holy Spirit works in us and among us.  We will see that we are “never alone”.       Never Alone song
