Confidence After We Fail

We make mistakes. We often take matters into our own hands to bring about a desired action at a pace that WE like. Even more, we sin against God. But regardless of what we’ve done, we are never beyond the love and grace of God.

When we turn to God and trust, God brings us into an incredible relationship with himself. He will still work in our lives as we follow Him.

This lesson is found from Genesis 16:1-5; 17:1-9. It had been about ten years since Abram left Haran, and Sarai had not born a child. She was now seventy-five years old. What could she do? She takes matters into her own hands.

Waiting on the Lord can be difficult. Sarah thought she had a solution to her waiting. It was not a good solution.  Abram agreed to Sarai’s suggestion, so it is clear they are both to blame.

The point is Trust God to redeem your failures.
