We are in Genesis 13:5-11,14-18 as we study: Confidence in the Midst of Conflict.The point of this study is to trust God when conflict disrupts your relationships.
Conflicts are about issues of personal desires moreso than needs.
A desire is an emotion directed toward attainment or possession of an object, a sensual appetite, physical desire or lust.
Need is from an ancient word meaning "death or to be exhausted.”
Needs deal with matters of "life and death," desires are just emotions that we we lust after.
